We Think Differently Of Venture Capital In Africa

FOR-PROFIT. PURPOSE-DRIVEN. HIGH-GROWTH.

Good Tech Ventures Africa will be Africa’s largest Pan-African Venture Capital Fund investing in B2B and B2B2C profit-from-purpose driven
early-stage tech startups solving some of the most meaningful problems while creating a sustainable ecosystem.

A CONTINENT READY FOR DISRUPTION

The young, fast-growing, tech- and mobile-versed African population is hungry for entrepreneurs building solutions to improve lives and infrastructures. 2017 was the best year of fundraising for African tech startups, especially in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana.

Our Investment Thesis

WE EMPOWER THOSE WHO WILL CHANGE THE FUTURE FOR GOOD

Good Tech Ventures Africa targets to raise a $25M Venture Capital fund to invest in hand-picked African Seed to Series A tech startups. The investments will range from $200k to $1M, including selected follow-on rounds.

We will primarily focus on B2B and B2B2C startups. All of our investments will be done in syndication with at least one other co-investor and preferably 3-5 parties. The deal flow is based on an international partner network of Angel Investors and VCs, as well as strategic relationships with Incubators, Accelerators, and Startup Competitions.
